Game Description
This is a Pac-Man Commander Keen style game, You play this gane as you would in Pac-Man but in Commander Keen style
Where did i get the idea for Pac-Keen?
A few years ago when i discovered the PCKF (Public Commander Keen Forum) i was browsing a little bit after i registered & come across a thread telling me about a nifty free tool called Game Maker & when i got it i decided i better sharpen my skills first, i found a pacman example & that's where i got the idea for pac-keen
Differences in older versions in Pac-Keen
I built Pac-Keen in Game Maker 5, i found out if i used gifs with reduced colours & reduce the quality of the wav's, the game size would fall dematicly to a smaller size, the total size with the first bug free executable was about 3.33MB (2.47MB ZIP), i have worked very hard to reduce the size of the executable
What's new in this version of Pac-Keen
Added the commander keen 4 menu plus the paddlewar example & 5 new levels
Registration
Game Maker is free to use, But if you want extra features you should register the program, it costs $20 US or 15 € or the equivalent amount in different currency, to see how you can register visit http://www.gamemaker.nl/registration.html, the easiest way if you do not want to send money over the net is to use shareit & to pay by cheque. otherwise if you choose to pay by money order you will have to pay an additonal 10 €. how do i know this i was given a license for my 20th
